USA TODAY Joins Bloomberg’s Anti-Gun Propaganda

USA TODAY Joins Bloomberg’s Anti-Gun Propaganda U.S.A. -( The senior leaders at Gannett’s flagship newspaper, USA TODAY, have surrendered their objectivity, independence and impartiality to an anti-gun group that wants to strip law-abiding Americans of their constitutional rights. After Joe Biden’s ATF noee, David Chipman, was rejected by the Senate, these editors allowed their newspaper to be used by Chipman’s supporters who are working in their own newsroom to rewrite the narrative of Chipman’s aborted confirmation, and the editors are not letting their highly touted journalism ethics get in the way. For USA TODAY, this is nothing new. It’s all part of an incestuous partnership the newspaper has with the Trace the propaganda arm of billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun empire. The Trace describes itself as the “only newsroom dedicated to reporting on gun violence.” It has slick digital packages that are chockfull of stories, photos and videos, […]

Beretta 92 Pistol ~ The Forgotten Handgun

Editors Note: With the resurgence of police Beretta 92 surplus pistols this review is an update of one of Mikes’s articles that ran on AmmoLand News in 2015 and just a great . Beretta 92 Pistol USA -( Do you remember the first time that you saw a Beretta 92? It may have been while watching an action film from the 1980s such as Lethal Weapon or Die Hard or a thriller from the 1990s like Leon: The Professional. Perhaps movies aren’t your thing and it was on active or reserve duty with the US Military over the past 30 years or on duty with a law enforcement agency. Whenever it was, for three decades the Beretta 92 in all of its configurations was one of the most popular 9mm handguns on the market, selling between $500 and $1000 and bringing imitations from Brazil, Egypt, Turkey, and Romania. Then […]

EOTECH Vudu 3.5-18×50 SFP Rifle Scope is the Top Choice for Big Game Hunters U.S.A. -( The EOTECH Vudu 3.5-18×50 Second Focal Plane scope may well be the perfect optic for big game hunting. The ideal choice for tack-driving precision, the Vudu 3.5-18x features EOTECH’s XC High-Density (HD) glass providing ridiculously clear, sharp-edged images up close, far away and at all points in-between. The scope also features a unique sleep mode that automatically shuts off the illuation after two hours. Battery life is exceptional and is rated at 500 hours of run-time when set at the […]

Every Day Carry Loadout: SIG SAUER P365

SIG SAUER P365 Decked Out for Concealed Carry U.S.A. -( I knew as soon as I saw the spec sheet for the P365 all those years ago that it would become my carry gun. Reading specs was one thing, but seeing it in person is another. At SHOT the next year, I held one, and it reaffirmed my beliefs. I was an early adopter, and the SIG P365 has served as my carry gun for years now. However, over time I’ve slowly transformed it into something a little fancier and make it a very competent little fighting pistol. Parts and Pieces of My P365 I’ll admit full stop that I sacrificed a little of the compact design to accommodate all my parts and pieces. It’s gotten bigger but still manageable for concealed carry. I don’t d a bigger gun by any means, and I love the efficiency of the P365. […]

FN 509 LS Edge – FN-USA’s Do-Everything Race Gun ~ VIDEO

U.S.A. -( There are some guns that until you shoot them, you never knew you wanted or needed them, and the new FN 509 LS Edge is a prime example of this. Don’t get me wrong, the FN 509’s core design is very competent. It’s perfectly reliable, offers solid accuracy, and isn’t terribly expensive. But it lacks that certain je ne sais quoi of FN’s other designs. It doesn’t look strange, operates uniquely, or has a history of use with tier one operators. FN apparently sought to change that with the introduction of the 509 LS Edge where the 509 adopts an aggressive appearance coupled with the promise of top-notch accuracy to deliver a competition handgun that looks truly awesome. But can the 509 LS Edge’s performance match its killer looks? Let’s take a closer look and find out. FN 509 LS Edge The FN 509 series of handguns, including […]

Concealed Carry Permits Jump 10.5% in 2021

A new report from the Crime Prevention Research Center shows more than 21.5 million Americans are now licensed to carry concealed. (Dave Workman) U.S.A. -( The number of active concealed carry licenses and permits in the U.S. has soared to more than 21.52 million this year, according to the annual report from the Crime Prevention Research Center. The report, from CPRC founder and President John Lott, Carlisle E. Moody Research Director and Professor at the College of William & Mary, and research associate Rujun Wang, says the spike represents “a 48% increase since 2016,” and amounts to “a 10.5% increase over the number of permits we counted a year ago in 2020.” And this doesn’t necessarily reflect the true number of Americans who are now carrying for personal protection. As the report acknowledges, 21 states have adopted so-called “constitutional carry” laws that allow carrying firearms without the necessity of a […]

“Adapting” to Crime with “Bleeding Control” Kits

While being driven around recently in the gun-control utopia of Chicago, U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill) claimed the driver of a car next to his leaned out the window and shot a gun into the air. IMG iStock-625383406 U.S.A. -( While being driven around recently in the gun-control utopia of Chicago, U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill) claimed the driver of a car next to his leaned out the window and shot a gun into the air. “He could have just as easily been shooting the gun at us!” said the senator, possibly rattled by the reality gap between the “A-us” rating Illinois has for its strict gun laws from anti-gun group Giffords, and the impact those laws appear to have on crial behavior. A year ago, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced an ambitious new “Our City, Our Safety” plan. This “comprehensive violence reduction plan” was based on expanding access to jobs and housing, revitalizing neighborhood economies, increasing “police legitimacy,” and […]

Woman Shoots Armed Intruder who Claimed to be Police

Woman Shoots Armed Intruder who Claimed to be Police U.S.A. -( On September 27, 2021, a little after midnight, in Anderson, Indiana, surveillance cameras captured a man lurking around a home on a quiet residential street. The address on 8th Street is not far from the university and the police station. The man, later identified as Jeffrey Flowers, was not content to lurk and look in windows. It has been reported he broke into the house through the back door. On, prosecutor Cumgs states the recordings reveal Flowers pretended to be a police officer. He demanded to know the location of a woman, saying “Where is she?!” and “Where is the money?!”. Cumgs described the man as wearing a mask over his face. The resident of the house, a woman, saw Flowers breaking into her home. Police say she retreated to an upstairs bedroom and accessed a firearm. It […]

Speaking With Dave Matheny, Founder of Silencer Shop

Speaking With Dave Matheny, Founder of Silencer Shop U.S.A. -( first commercially successful suppressor was sold by Hiram Percy Maxim around 1902. Maxim patented his item as a Maxim Silencer in 1909. Maxim called his invention a silencer because in many countries at the time, mufflers on vehicles were referred to as silencers. In 1934 Congress added silencers to the newly passed Nation Firearms Act (NFA). The $200 tax stamp put these devices out of the reach of the average citizens, and Hollywood would start pushing suppressors as a tool of assassins. To a lot of people, that stereotype still exists to this day. But with the $200 tax stamp becog more affordable, more and more people are buying suppressors. These buyers are not hitmen. They are everyday gun owners looking to protect their hearing. One of these gun owners that wanted to protect their son’s hearing is Dave Matheny. […]

Anti-Gunners Launch Campaign Intimidating Supreme Court Over 2A Case

Now, however, the Second Amendment is back before a U.S. Supreme Court that features the strongest majority of originalists in modern times. IMG NRA-ILA U.S.A. -( For many decades, gun control proponents who saw their fortunes wane in legislatures from coast to coast and who were unable to get traction with Congress could at least console themselves with the thought that activist courts had their backs. The Second Amendment, after all, had been all but written out of the U.S. Bill of Rights by law professors and politically-ded judges, as cities and even the U.S. Congress increasingly adopted gun control in the Twentieth Century. But none of that could change the text, history, or tradition of the Second Amendment, which led to an unbroken and uniquely American embrace of private gun ownership as a defense against crime and tyranny and also gave rise to the popular understanding of bearing arms […]

U.S.A. -( Our Michigan Knife Rights Act, HB 4066, was “reported favorably” out of the Senate Local Government Committee with a or amendment. Thanks to all who emailed committee members. If you are a Michigan resident, please use Knife Rights’ Legislative Action Center to easily EMAIL Senators and ask them to vote YES on HB 4066: Knife Law Preemption is a Knife Rights crial justice reform effort that nullifies existing ordinances and prevents new local ordinances more restrictive than state law which only serve to confuse or entrap law-abiding citizens traveling within or through the state. Langdon Tactical 92 Elite LTT – Video Review

Langdon Tactical 92 Elite LTT U.S.A. -( 15 years of active duty service in the Army left me with a bad taste in the mouth for Beretta 92s. The M-9 pistols we had were temperamental despite the NATO loads we fed them. Accuracy may have been mechanically sound, but the limited training we had combined with an unpredictable trigger meant that although we could qualify with the gun, I was not about to run out and buy one for my own. I’ve since come to understand that poor training combined with an unrealistic major maintenance schedule was more to blame than the gun. My interest in the platform still waned as a lot has changed in both design and desires since the original 1985 design. Then I saw the Langdon Tactical 92 Elite LTT. The general lines and design were unmistakably Beretta 92, but the gun had been modernized, tuned, and […]

McAuliffe Comment Warning For Second Amendment Supporters

McAuliffe Comment Warning For Second Amendment Supporters, iStock-490657417 United States -( Sometimes, a comment on an unrelated issue can be a major warning about a danger to our Second Amendment rights. The recent comments by Terry McAuliffe about parental involvement in schools is one such comment. Schools have had the attention of Second Amendment supporters in the context of preventing school shootings for a long time. That attention has been rightly focused on efforts to prevent -and mitigate those attacks. Why? Because in the wake of Columbine, Sandy Hook, and other horrific school shootings, Bloomberg’s group gets support from parents so worried about their kids, they end up buying the snake oil from Everytown and Moms Demand Action. Stopping that is important, to put it mildly. It not only requires legislation like the School Violence Prevention and Mitigation Act of 2019, but Second Amendment supporters, particularly after Sandy Hook, […]

The Kel-Tec P50 5.7mm Space Gun of the Future! ~ VIDEO

U.S.A. -( The Kel-Tec P50 is a modular handgun that if the company wanted to, could be adapted into a carbine, a submachine gun, or a drone weapon. The upper receiver, containing everything but the trigger, can be adapted to remote firing. The lower receiver, with a Picatinny rail and two QD sockets, can be quickly augmented with a folding stock and a vertical foregrip. In its basic form, it looks like a prop from Cyberpunk or Blade Runner. Kel-Tec P50 Using 50-shot P90 magazines, the P50 overmatches all competitor handguns’ incapacity. Its 9.6-inch barrel fixed firmly in the receiver gives it accuracy beating most match pistols: fired from a sandbag with just a red dot sight at fifty yards, it shot groups under 1.5 inches. Chambered for the punchy 5.7x28mm, the P50 recoils like a 22 rimfire pistol. American Eagle 40gr FMJ leaves the muzzle at 1920fps, 40-grain expanding […]

Hawaii Complaint Rights Wrongful Disarmament Determination by Police

“Thank you, sir, may we have another?” (Hawaii Police Department/Facebook) U.S.A. -( “[I]t is stipulated that County is permanently enjoined from denying an applicant’s permit to acquire a firearm due to being convicted of a crime of violence … unless the conviction meets the definition of ‘crime of violence,” a Friday order from Judge Derrick K. Watson in the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii mandates. What that means is that Lance Choda, a Hawaii man denied a permit to acquire a firearm and ordered to dispose of any firearms he aly owned, has won his case, for himself and for others similarly wrongfully denied. AmmoLand Shooting Sports News first reported on Choda’s complaint against the County of Hawaii in September, relating how police had declared him prohibited from possessing a firearm after he’d gotten into a heated but non-violent argument with a neighbor. Arrested, […]
